Now this is gonna be a great option for you if you're looking for something that's not gonna be able just to carry one kayak but also two kayaks. Now let's take a closer look at it. So this is gonna hold your kayaks down with this J-style, but if you need to hold more than one kayak, if we look at the other ones we have on here today, you can actually rotate the arms to make 'em vertical and that's gonna let you hold two kayaks. If you have one kayak, you're gonna be able to hold up to 80 pounds, but if you put two on there, that's going to go up to 110. more

Yakima Saddle Style Kayak Roof Rack Review - 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Hi, Matt with etrailer and today we're gonna be talking about the Yakima Kayak Carrier with saddles and rollers on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. What's great about this one is that it's gonna have these rollers on the back and that's gonna make getting your kayak up there a lot easier, is you're gonna just gonna be able to lift it up and roll it across those rollers and that's gonna be a lot easier to sit down on top of your vehicle. Now let's take a closer look on how to take off our kayak. And to start off with that, we're just gonna remove our balance and stern straps. These straps are gonna have a lot of good tie-down points, right now we just have it hooked on to some of the hardware for our hitch. In our case today, you can hook it onto a lot of different tiedown points inside the truck, since we have these built-in anchor points or you can even use these anchor points built into our ladder rack. more

These are your J-style kayak carriers, and they are great for freeing up all that extra space on your roof rack to carry another kayak, your bikes, or any other type of rooftop accessory. They are made out of a steel tube construction, so it's gonna be very durable, and they are finished with a black powder coat, keeping it rust-resistant and corrosion-resistant as well. These are your fixed J-style kayak carriers, so they're not gonna be able to fall down. So just keep that in mind if you need low clearances to park into your garage or anything like that. They're gonna be mounted on with these wing nuts right here as well as this bar, and these are gonna fit most of your factory crossbars. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Malone Downloader kayak carrier with the Telos XL load assist. And we're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. Here we have our Telos XL load assist struts. So these are arms that go into the Malone Downloader and assist with getting the kayak up and into the carrier. Now it's not, doesn't do all the work for you you still will have to lift the kayak up and I will show you later in this video when I show how to load up a kayak. Malone DownLoader J-Style Kayak Carrier Review - 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
How's it going everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Malone Downloader Kayak Carrier, on our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. They call it the Downloader, because it does store in this downloaded position, which is nice for if you just leave this on, it's easier to transport, it's more condensed. And then it does fold up, into the J style, which is also nice, because if you want to store multiple kayaks on your crossbars, you can do that. But, before we fold it up, you're gonna want to feed the included straps through, just 'cause it's a lot easier to do now. So I'm making sure that the buckle is facing away. more

Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer, And today we're taking a look at the Kuat Class 2 kayak carrier on the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. This is your J-style kayak carrier. It is great for freeing up space on your roof rack so you can carry another kayak or your bikes. It's gonna be made out of a lightweight aluminum construction with a black powder coat finish so it's gonna be rust resistant and corrosion resistant as well. It is mounted by these 2 wing nuts and a padded bar right here, and it does fit most of your factory cross bars as well as your arrow shape, your square, even your round bars. It is a fixed J-style, so it's not gonna have the folding features as some of the other kayak carriers. more

Everyone, Charles here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier on the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So these are your J-Style kayak carriers. It's gonna be perfect for freeing up extra space on your roof rack so that you can carry other kayaks or your bikes or anything like that. One thing that I do like about this is the assistance that we have here to place our kayak on and just slide it in there as well as the rubberized grooves on the inside where your kayak rests and they do have some grooves in there just for some added traction as well for your kayaks. Another thing to note is that these fit really flush on these aero bars right here. It almost gives it a factory look cause there's not any nuts and bolts hanging off. more

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're doing a test fit of the Yakima Stand-up Paddleboard and Surfboard Tailgate Pad. That part number is Y04072. Now we already have it on our vehicle. We're going to show you how we secure that to our truck, and then we'll show you how to load up your gear on there. I'm going to start by opening my tailgate all the way. I'm going to take my strap, straighten it out, and then just feed it through my tailgate. Then we'll do the same thing to the other side. more

Inno Watersport Carriers Review - 2016 Chevrolet Cruze Limited- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Cruz Limited, we have our Inno Board Locker and Board Carrier, part number INA744. We've got our front one installed already, I'll show you how this back one goes on. Set it in place, we want to swing over our bottom bracket. If we have to we can loosen the back of it so we can line up our slot, our front bold. You do want to make sure that you tighten this relatively close. What I typically do is I'll test the lockout, see how tight it gets, and then make sure our spacing is pretty close on either side. more

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2014 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Suburban we're going to be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi, a stand-up paddle board carrier with a 2-board capacity, part number TH810. With our factory roof rack already on our Suburban we'll begin our test fit by grabbing the front half of our carrier. We're going to place it onto our front crossbar. As we do this we'll be sure that we bring the two black rubber coated metal straps around the underside. We'll then fit the one closest to us into the foot of the carrier. Turning the gray knob on the front will tighten the strap and firmly secure it to our crossbar. With the front done we'll now grab the rear half of our carrier, place it onto our rear crossbar. more

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2014 Chevrolet Malibu- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Malibu were going to be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi, a standup paddle board carrier with a two board capacity. Its part number is TH810. With our Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System already installed on the Malibu, well begin our test fit by placing the front half of our carrier onto our front load bar. Well bring the black, rubber-coated metal straps around the underside of our load bar, fit them back into the foot of the carrier, and secure it in place by tightening the grey knob. Well move to the drivers side and repeat that same process. With the front half of our carrier secure, well grab the rear half, place it onto our rear load bar. Well take a quick look to be sure we have both halves of the rack in line with each other. Then well repeat the tightening process that we used for the front. With both halves of our carrier secure, its now time to load up our paddle board. more

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we'll be test fitting the Thule SUP taxi stand-up paddle board carrier with a two board capacity, part number TH810. With a Thule rapid traverse roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing half of our carrier onto our front bar. We'll bring the rubber coated strap around the bar, fitting it back into the foot of the carrier, and using the small hand knob to secure it. We'll move to the other side and repeat this process. We'll grab the other half of our carrier and place it onto our rear bar. We want to make sure that both halves of our carrier are in line with each other. Once we have it situated, we can bring the straps around, fit them back into the foot of the carrier, and repeat the same tightening process that we used for the front. We'll undo our straps and take them over to the driver's side of the vehicle. more

Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Cruze- Video
Today on our 2013 Chevy Cruze we'll be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddle Board Carrier with a two board capacity, part number TH810. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front part of the carrier onto our front bar. We'll bring the rubber coated steel straps around the underside of the front bar and hook them into the connection points. We can then turn gray knobs to bring up the straps tightly up against the bar. With this done, we'll repeat the same process for the rear part of the carrier. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, we're ready to load up our paddle board. We'll push out the silver plate on the right hand side and pull out on the silver plate with the Thule logo, freeing up the strap. We'll then throw the strap on the other side of the vehicle. With both straps on the other side of the vehicle, we'll take our paddle board and place it up onto our carrier, with the fin facing the front of the vehicle. We'll then throw the straps up over the paddle board, making sure the gray protective tubing is touching the sides of the paddle board. With this done, we're going to put the strap in place. Again, we'll pull out on the silver plate with the Thule logo to fit the strap in place. We'll then put the silver plate with the Thule logo on top of the strap and secure it with the silver side plate. We'll then pull it tight and secure the excess slack into the hole on the bottom portion of the carrier. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, that'll complete today's test fit for the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddle Board Carrier with a two board capacity, part number TH810, on our 2013 Chevy Cruz. more

We will repeat these steps for both brackets on the front part of the carrier. With the front part of the carrier secured to the vehicle, well set the back part of the carrier onto the rear crossbar, bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the crossbar, and turn the gray knobs to tighten them down securing the back part of the carrier to the vehicle. Now with all parts of the carrier secured to the vehicle, well show you how to load up some gear. more

Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Equinox were going to be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier, part number th810. To mount our carrier on top of our roof rack, well take the first half of the carrier and set it up on top of our front load bar. Well fit the rubber-coated steel SpeedLink straps around our load bar and re-secure them to their heads. We can go ahead and secure them by tightening them down with the gray hand knobs. With the front half of our carrier secured, well take the second half of the carrier and set it up on top of the rear load bar. We do want to make sure that it lines up properly with the carrier in front. more
